CoreWeb Spam Policy

CoreWeb has a zero tolerance spam policy. We will immediately terminate the use of our product by any customer found to be using CoreWeb’s email communication platforms for spam.

What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature. Unsolicited e-mail refers to any digital message that: advertises a product or service for profit; is sent for other commercial purposes; is sent to a recipient with whom the sender does not have an existing business relationship or invites the recipient to view content on an internet website that is operated for a commercial purpose.

Current Anti-Spam Laws
The Can-Spam Act of 2003 went into effect on January 1, 2004. This federal law makes most spam illegal and provides specific requirements with respect to the sending of electronic communications of a commercial nature. The federal law preempts all state laws and violations of such law can result in a fine and/or imprisonment of up to five years.

What Does CoreWeb Do To Help You Avoid Spam

  • Unsubscription – Each e-mail created using our product contains an “unsubscribe link”.
  • Opt-in Mailing Lists – Mass mailing to purchase e-mail lists is not allowed. CoreWeb only permits the use of “Opt-in” mailing lists.
  • Identification – All e-mails are automatically generated to include your contact information including your physical address and e-mail “sender” information.

How CoreWeb Enforces its Anti-Spam Policy
CoreWeb has the right to actively review its customers’ subscriber lists and e-mail for large broadcasts. If CoreWeb finds any customers to be spamming, it will issue a warning, and if the activities are serious enough, CoreWeb may take action immediately. If CoreWeb has any reason to believe that the customer, despite warning being given, threatens to or is continuing to send spam, then CoreWeb may take action immediately, including disabling the customer’s account and/or reporting the customer and the incident to the proper authorities.

If you know or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately at spam@coreweb.com. If you have received an e-mail from such a party, please include your e-mail addresses along with the unsolicited e-mail.
