CoreWeb Spam Policy
CoreWeb has a zero tolerance spam policy. We will immediately terminate the use
of our product by any customer found to be using CoreWeb’s email communication
platforms for spam.
What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature. Unsolicited e-mail
refers to any digital message that: advertises a product or service for profit;
is sent for other commercial purposes; is sent to a recipient with whom the
sender does not have an existing business relationship or invites the recipient
to view content on an internet website that is operated for a commercial
purpose.
Current Anti-Spam Laws
The Can-Spam Act of 2003 went into effect on January 1, 2004. This federal law
makes most spam illegal and provides specific requirements with respect to the
sending of electronic communications of a commercial nature. The federal law
preempts all state laws and violations of such law can result in a fine and/or
imprisonment of up to five years.
