What is Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries up to?

"Goodwill, Not Landfill was held in conjunction with BU’s Move Out from April 24 to May 18. During that period, we had Goodwill bins in each BU dorm where students could donate reusable stuff like clothes, shoes and housewares. The result: we collected more than 35 tons of goods!

I think the success of the campaign was based on the “Goodwill, Not Landfill” theme. Instead of throwing reusable things away, students could donate them to Goodwill and divert them from the landfill. This is a very appealing message. These donations were later resold in our stores, thereby supporting our mission to help individuals with barriers to employment find work."
