A few months ago I had to serve jury duty in Salem, MA. After 5 riveting hours of being carted back and forth between a musty church basement and a stifling courtroom, we were given a lunch break.

    I have a love-hate relationship with birds. I love to look at them from afar, I hate when they are within pecking distance. I think this stems from two childhood experiences.
